Biographie:
Seyed Sina Sadeghpour, geboren 1977 in Teheran (Iran), begann seine musika- lische Ausbildung am Konservatorium von Teheran im Fach Klarinette bei Mr. Afshar. Danach studierte er Musik an der Azad Universität und besuch- te Kurse bei Alireza Mashayekhi und Farhad Fakhraldini. Während des Studiums begann er im Tehran Symphony Orchestra zu spielen.
Im Jahr 2000 verließ er den Iran zur Weiterbildung am Dr. Hoch’s Konservatorium in Frankfurt am Main. Er absolvierte ein Instrumentalstudium an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main (HfMDK) bei Sven van der Kuip. Er entschied sich dann für den Schwerpunkt Komposition und schloss den Masterstudiengang bei Prof. Gerhard Müller-Hornbach ab.
S. Sina Sadeghpour schafft in seinen Werken einen Dialog zwischen westlicher und östlicher Musiktradition und erhielt dafür den Preis des Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes (DAAD). Sein Werkkatalog beinhaltet auch Kompositionen für Musiktheater und Film.
